Janessa DeCoste is a Canadian trailblazer in Nurse Coaching and independent practice, transforming healthcare, education, and nursing entrepreneurship. As Co-Founder and Lead Instructor at The Canadian Institute of Integrative Nursing Development & Education Ltd. (TheCIINDE©), she has been a driving advocate for the expansion and recognition of Nurse Coaching across Canada. She also co-created TheCIINDE©’s Comprehensive Holistic Nurse, Nurse Coach & Consultant Certificate Program, empowering nurses with the expertise to lead transformative, client-centered care. She serves as the Accredited Provider – Program Director through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), overseeing TheCIINDE©’s role as one of the few Canadian organizations accredited to provide continuing professional development by the ANCC’s Commission on Accreditation. Janessa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from Saint Francis Xavier University and a Master of Nursing (MN) from the University of Calgary. A recognized Canadian expert in nursing entrepreneurship, she co-developed TheCIINDE©’s Business Development Program for Nurses and founded The Entrepreneurial Nurse to empower nurses in building and scaling independent practices. Janessa seamlessly integrates clinical expertise with strategic business development.
